Organic cocoa butter smells so good that we’d like to share it with you just as it comes from the cacao bean. Retaining all of its wonderful chocolate aroma, our virgin organic cocoa butter is a fabulous skin food in its own right.  Unrefined and cold pressed it retains all of it’s botanical goodness.

It is extensively used by African women as a rich moisturiser to keep their skin in healthy and smooth condition. It is particularly good for skin dried out by the weather. Rich in nutrients essential for skin repair, cocoa butter will rehydrate and feed dry, hungry skin. It is one of the best butters for improving skin elasticity.

Solid at room temperature, organic cocoa butter needs to be warm or melted before use. Take a small piece of cocoa butter and use it in the same way as a massage bar. Always use it in this way after a warm bath or shower, while the skin is still warm. This will make it easy for the cocoa butter to warm up and glide over the skin. This is a really effective way to get instant cocoa butter moisturising.  Alternatively, allow a small piece of cocoa butter to warm up in a bowl over some hot water. It will leave your skin feeling satiny smooth. We particularly like using it during the summer on sun kissed skin.
