I bought this to use as a face mask, haven’t tried it on hair. As a mask, the powder isn’t as easy to mix with water or apply as the green clay mask, and it does have a smell where the clay doesn’t. However the neem leaves my skin feeling just as clean as the clay, and seems to purify in a gentler way. My skin feels less dry afterwards than it does with the green clay. I’ve been using the neem every week and am sure my skin looks better.

I mixed a spoonful of powder with a light oil and rubbed it into my scalp. After about 10-15 minutes, I rinsed it, then shampooed. My scalp felt clean, without any dryness or itchiness.
